Overview
- Antoinette Smith vanished after attending a David Bowie concert at Slane Castle on 11 July 1987 and was last seen walking past the Gresham Hotel toward O'Connell Street Bridge.
- Her remains were recovered on 3 April 1988 on Glendoo Mountain, near the Lemass monument close to Glencree and Enniskerry in Co Wicklow.
- Gardaí at Bray Garda Station have opened an incident room and issued a renewed public appeal asking anyone with information from 1987 or obtained since to contact Bray station or the Garda Confidential Line.
- Investigators say Smith spent the night at La Mirage Discotheque on Parnell Street and left the club with two men who took a taxi to Ballymun while she continued walking, and they ask people who knew those men to come forward.
