Garage51 Announces Cordura, a Co-Op Victorian Horror Game With Voice-Mimicking Foes

The reveal spotlights asymmetric co-op built around voice deception through a Mimic system.

Overview

  • Unveiled during the Future Games Show, Cordura sends crews into corrupted estates to steal Roses of the Night that yield the prized Ambrosia.
  • Up to four players split roles between a Controller in a Control Room and Workers inside the mansion, coordinating via proximity voice chat.
  • The Night can imitate teammates’ voices and appearances to lure players off course, eroding trust and sanity.
  • Mansions are procedurally generated and grow more hostile as the night advances, with shifting light, creeping corruption, and roaming threats.
  • A countdown seals the doors at run’s end, fallen Workers face permanent death with optional recovery attempts, and the game is slated for PS5 and PC via Steam with no release date yet but Steam wishlisting available.
