FuRyu Brings Exstetra Remaster to Steam This Summer

The release restores a delisted 2013 JRPG to global access with full English and Chinese support.

Overview

  • FuRyu, which announced the remaster Friday, plans a worldwide Steam launch in summer 2026.
  • This will be the first time Exstetra is available outside Japan, with English plus Traditional and Simplified Chinese supported.
  • The Steam page is live with screenshots, but there is no price or exact launch date yet.
  • FuRyu has not announced console versions, and outlets report the original developer’s involvement is unclear.
  • The JRPG debuted on Nintendo 3DS and PS Vita on November 7, 2013, then became hard to buy after delisting and the closure of those digital stores, so the PC release helps restore access.
