Overview
- Funcom, working with Inflexion Games, announced a free Unreal Engine 5 version called Conan Exiles Enhanced that releases on Steam on May 5.
- The company says there are no current plans to bring the upgrade to consoles, the Epic Games Store, or the Windows PC Store.
- The UE5 build targets smooth 60+ FPS on most PCs, adds Steam Deck support, and cuts the client size to about 40GB.
- Owners of the Isle of Siptah DLC can use the same character across the Exiled Lands and Siptah with teleports, with multiple character slots now available plus cleaner menus and smarter crafting.
- Players and private server hosts must follow the migration steps, as the UE4 Legacy client remains available but Crom Coins will stop working there once the Bazaar is disabled.
