Overview
- The program, which city and state officials unveiled Wednesday, confirms the festival runs June 12–21 with ten headline concerts and notes Roland Kaiser’s June 13 show is sold out.
- Plans concentrate activities in Fulda’s historic core along a three-kilometre Hessentagsstraße with the Domplatz arena set to host more than 10,000 people per show.
- The 2026 edition marks 80 years of the state of Hessen with the premiere of the Hessen musical “Der Allmächtige Handkäs” and a special cuvée from the state winery.
- Hessischer Rundfunk will stage public viewings of Germany’s World Cup group matches on June 14 and June 20 so visitors can watch the games on site.
- The festival will end with a traditional parade on June 21 that organisers expect will draw about 50,000 spectators.
