FSA Expands MOMA Porridge Recall Over Suspected Mouse Contamination

The alert covers all best-before dates from 24 April 2026 to 12 March 2027 across MOMA pots and sachets.

Overview

  • MOMA Foods, which first pulled some lines earlier this month, expanded the recall Saturday to every listed pot and sachet dated 24 April 2026 to 12 March 2027.
  • The FSA told shoppers not to eat the affected products and to return them to the store for a full refund as shops pull stock and post in‑store notices.
  • The update also corrected the notice by removing the Almond Butter & Salted Caramel 55g eight‑pack that was listed in error.
  • The affected porridge is sold by major UK supermarkets including Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Morrisons, Waitrose and Ocado.
  • Other active recalls this week cover Heck burgers with a milk allergen risk after a packaging mix‑up, Hibiwash cleanser with Burkholderia cepacia found during routine checks with no harm reported by the MHRA, and unsafe toys and a magnetic game flagged for choking and magnet ingestion hazards.
