- Catherine Vautrin said Tuesday that two of the three French soldiers wounded in south Lebanon will be repatriated later in the day.
- She added that the third wounded soldier is no longer in hospital.
- A national homage for Sgt.-Chef Florian Montorio will take place Thursday at 11:30 a.m. at the 17th Parachute Engineer Regiment in Montauban, led by Vautrin with Army Chief Gen. Pierre Schill attending.
- Montorio was killed Saturday in south Lebanon while serving with UN peacekeepers under UNIFIL in an ambush that France and the United Nations attribute to Hezbollah.
- Briefing parliament during a review of the 2024–2030 defense plan, Vautrin said some troops hurt in the March drone strike in Iraq have left Percy hospital and the most seriously injured is improving.
