- Rappel Conso, the government recall site, posted the alerts Monday, launching nationwide recalls of specific prawn and gambas packs.
- Cooked whole prawns sold by Grand Frais, Fresh and monmarche.fr are recalled for Listeria monocytogenes, limited to 400 g packs in lot 1042600847041 with GTIN 3457650031125 sold April 17–28.
- Leclerc is pulling 500 g frozen raw gambas after tests found Vibrio vulnificus, with affected lots starting with 5J12 and a recall window through July 6.
- Shoppers are told not to eat the listed products and to return them for a refund, and anyone with fever, headache or muscle aches after eating them should see a doctor because listeriosis can incubate for up to eight weeks.
- After the prawn alerts, a separate recall also targets 150 g smoked salmon pieces sold by the same retailers for listeria, covering lot 26114-B with refunds available through May 25.
