Four Teens Killed in Jharkhand Crash as Chatra Villagers Block Highway

• Police said a motorcycle carrying four minors collided head-on with a car on the Piparwar-Tandwa Road in the Chiraiyatand area on Thursday night.
• Abhay Kumar of Piparwar police station said the car was coming from Bachra when the crash occurred.
• IANS reported the SUV as a Scorpio that allegedly was speeding and struck the motorcycle, leaving both vehicles badly damaged.
• Villagers staged a road blockade for more than 16 hours, halting coal transport and regular traffic, placing the bodies on the road and seeking compensation, arrests and government jobs for families.
• Local reports named the victims as Vikas Kumar, Manjit Mahto, Pratap Kumar and Son Kumar, with three from Baradih and one from Hafuwa, and said they were returning from Bhelwatand when the collision happened.
