Four Teenagers Arrested After Daylight Attack at Colindale Tube

Police released images to prompt CCTV and witness reports that could identify others involved.

  • The unprovoked assault happened on a Colindale Underground platform at about 5.50pm on Monday, May 25, when a group of youths allegedly kicked and punched a man who had been looking at a map.
  • Members of the public gave first aid on the platform and the victim was taken to hospital where he was found to have a broken nose and broken ribs.
  • British Transport Police arrested four 15-year-olds — three girls and one boy — on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and the suspects currently remain on police bail.
  • BTP has released images of three people it wants to speak to and asked anyone with information or CCTV to text 61016 or call 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference 563 of 25 May, with anonymous tips to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
