Four-Star Wing Kevin Thomas Commits to North Carolina

• Kevin Thomas committed to UNC on Wednesday after an official visit to Chapel Hill earlier the same day.
• Thomas had signed with LSU but reopened his recruitment after the Tigers changed coaches.
• The 6-foot-7 Sagemont Prep senior is a top-100 2026 prospect, ranked No. 79 by 247Sports and No. 94 by Rivals.
• He averaged 15.5 points, 4.2 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 2.0 steals as a senior, won three Florida state titles, and is slated for the U18 USA Basketball training camp next week.
• He joins Maximo Adams, Sayon Keita and Malloy Smith in UNC’s 2026 class, giving new coach Michael Malone added wing depth as he rebuilds the roster.
