Overview
- The first and strongest quake, which struck Thursday at about 1:37 a.m., measured 4.6 magnitude and originated roughly 10 kilometres below Shirli/Pangra Shinde in Basmat (Vasmat) taluka.
- Officials recorded three more tremors between 2:15 a.m. and 3:23 a.m., registering 3.6, 3.9 and 4.1 magnitudes in nearby locations within Hingoli district.
- Tremors were widely felt across Hingoli, Nanded and Parbhani and parts of neighbouring districts, prompting residents to rush outdoors and report a loud underground rumble, but no casualties or major structural damage have been confirmed.
