- São Paulo confirmed four contenders—Acqua Vias SP–Internacional Marítima, Comporte, Consórcio Travessias SP and CS Infra—for the ferry concession auction on Thursday at 16:00 at B3.
- The contract foresees about R$2.5 billion over 20 years to renew 14 crossings with 45 new vessels, including 41 electric, alongside modernized terminals and operational systems.
- Tariff levels and existing exemptions will be maintained, and the state says pedestrian travel will also be free on the Santos–Guarujá crossing.
