Four Arrested in 2025 Ultra Festival Death, One Charged With First-Degree Murder

Prosecutors are building the case on an autopsy finding of acute MDMA toxicity.

Overview

  • FDLE announced arrests of Charlene Forti, An Tan Ly, Hannah Le-Nguyen and Carmen Lo after a yearlong probe into Jenniha Le’s death.
  • Forti faces a capital murder count plus conspiracy and unlawful communications charges, was denied bond, and appeared in Miami-Dade court Wednesday.
  • Investigators say Lo linked the parties; Forti sold MDMA to Le-Nguyen; Ly delivered it at Ultra; Le-Nguyen gave the pill to Le, who later died at Jackson Memorial Hospital.
  • Lo was arrested March 17 in Sandy Springs, booked into Fulton County Jail, and is slated for extradition to Miami-Dade; the others were jailed at TGK after Florida arrests.
  • With Ultra returning next week, Miami officials warned they will aggressively pursue charges against anyone selling illegal drugs that cause serious harm or death.
