Fortnite’s v41.30 Drops Springfield Reloaded, John Wick Sprite and Spider‑Man Skins

The July 30 update adds a solo Reload version of Springfield, new Mythic and collectible Sprites, and time-limited Spider-Man gear that aim to drive short-term player engagement.

Overview

  • Epic rolled out patch v41.30 on July 30, bringing the Springfield Reloaded map to Reload mode as a 50-player solo playlist that stays in rotation until August 3.
  • The update places a Simpsons‑themed new POI called The Confidential on the map that acts as a neutral healing zone with proximity chat and special 'excommunicado' combat rules.
  • John Wick appears as an NPC and as a Mythic John Wick Sprite in Reload that reveals nearby enemies after you knock or eliminate an opponent and can be extracted to your collection via a win, Portable Extractor, or chest find.
  • A Spider‑Man: Brand New Day collaboration adds new Spider‑Man skins (including a Tom Holland variant) and temporarily returns Web‑Shooters, with related cosmetics entering the shop on the movie tie‑in schedule.
  • v41.30 expands the Sprite ecosystem with Llama, Peely and Quack variants, a new Sprite Mastery UI and locator/extractor tools (Portable Extractor is in-game and leaks report a Lucky Locator gizmo) to speed collectible acquisition.
