Overview
- The procession began at 8 a.m. from Schmidt Funeral Home in Katy, traveling north on SH-99 and east on I-10 to Second Baptist Church — West Campus.

- Deputy Kenneth Lewis was off-duty in uniform when he stopped to help after a crash on the Katy Freeway on Feb. 21, was struck by a separate vehicle that fled, and died two days later.
