- A Napa County judge on Friday, Aug. 7, sentenced 66-year-old Richard Phillip Bardouski to 165 years to life and ordered $950,000 in restitution after his conviction for sexually abusing three family members.
- A jury in June found Bardouski guilty on multiple felony counts including sexual intercourse and sexual penetration of a child under 10 and several lewd or lascivious-act charges.
- Two victims first disclosed abuse in 2023 saying they were assaulted between ages 4 and 9 at Bardouski’s west Napa home and a third victim later reported she was molested around 2010 when she was 14.
- Napa investigators tracked Bardouski to Montgomery, Alabama after his retirement and he was arrested there in 2024 and returned to California for trial.
