Ford Reintroduces Everest Wildtrak in Australia With 1,000-Unit Run at $79,990
The move positions a V6, well-equipped Everest between Sport and Platinum.
Overview
- Ford Australia confirmed Wednesday a limited 2026.5 Everest Wildtrak run of about 1,000 units, with production starting in May and customer deliveries due in the third quarter of 2026.
- The SUV is priced at $79,990 before on-road costs, which places it $3,000 above the Sport, equal to the Tremor, and $3,500 below the Platinum.
- Standard kit steps up with matrix LED headlights, a panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting, and a power-folding third row, plus Wildtrak-specific Ignite Orange accents and gloss-black trim.
- The Wildtrak retains a 184 kW 3.0-litre V6 turbo-diesel with a 10-speed automatic and full-time 4WD, and it offers a $2,500 Premium Towing Pack with an integrated brake controller and Pro Trailer Backup Assist.
- Ford’s broader MY26.5 update drops the 2.0-litre bi-turbo diesel and adds a 2.0-litre single-turbo for lower grades, introducing a new Active entry variant to simplify the Everest range.
