- Multiple 911 calls around 2:20 a.m. Wednesday reported people with overdose symptoms in and around Shakespeare’s Pub on East Sixth Street, and responders found five adult patients.
- Austin-Travis County EMS and Austin police sent multiple units to the scene and gave Narcan to all five patients, reviving one person who was in respiratory arrest before four were taken to hospitals and one refused transport.
