Five Tavria Trains From Crimea Running Hours Late, Operator Says

The carrier reduced its earlier count by returning a Moscow–Sevastopol service to schedule but has not explained the disruption.

Overview

  • As of 13:00 Moscow time on January 8, five Tavria passenger services remained delayed en route, down from six reported earlier in the day.
  • The affected trains are No. 328S Simferopol–Kislovodsk (about 5 hours), No. 078S Simferopol–St. Petersburg (about 5.5–6 hours), No. 092S Sevastopol–Moscow (about 6 hours), No. 098S Simferopol–Moscow (about 3–4 hours), and No. 076S Simferopol–Omsk (about 2.5–4 hours).
  • All currently delayed services are traveling from Crimea toward destinations in mainland Russia.
  • Train No. 092M Moscow–Sevastopol, initially listed as delayed in the morning update, has been returned to the timetable.
  • Grand Service Express says delay durations may change and that passengers delayed over four hours are being provided food and water, with onboard managers delivering updates.
