Overview
- A woman suffered life-changing injuries in Woolwich on March 20, and a man in his 30s was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm at the scene.
- Detectives believe the Woolwich victim and the arrested man are known to each other, and they are not seeking anyone else in connection with that incident.
- Two men in their 20s were stabbed in West Drayton the same evening, were found on Station Road, and were taken to hospital with injuries not described as life-threatening.
- A double stabbing on Oval North Road in Dagenham on March 21 left two men in hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, and officers established a cordon at the entrance to The Leys country park.
- The Met is appealing for witnesses and any photos or video, asking the public to quote CAD 5573/20MAR (Woolwich), CAD 5974/20MAR (West Drayton), or CAD 4387/21MAR (Dagenham), or to contact Crimestoppers anonymously.
