Overview
- Troopers, called around 3 a.m. Sunday to I-93 north near Exit 3 in Milton, found a single-car crash with five people hurt.
- Police said all five were taken to local hospitals, with the driver the most seriously injured and at least one person in life-threatening condition.
- Video from the scene showed a white car partly submerged in water off the highway.
- Police, fire, EMS, and the Norfolk County district attorney’s office secured the area, closed the Blue Hill River Road on-ramp, and later reopened it.
- Crews recovered the vehicle from the water and cleared the scene, as state police continue to investigate the cause.
