FITUR 2026 Confirms €505 Million Boost for Madrid as Attendance Tops 255,000

Official results underscore a broader global footprint, with next year’s dates now set.

  • IFEMA reported 155,000 professional attendees, a 12% rise in international attendance and an 11% increase in international exhibitors, plus roughly 100,000 public visitors over the weekend.
  • More than 10,000 companies participated from 161 countries, including 111 with official representation, alongside 967 main exhibitors.
  • The fair generated an estimated €505 million for Madrid’s economy and supported the maintenance of 3,753 jobs.
  • The Knowledge Hub delivered eight auditoriums, ten conference programs, over 200 sessions and more than 250 speakers, complemented by specialist sections spanning accessibility, cruises, tech, women’s leadership and other niches.
  • The edition opened with a minute of silence and a royal inauguration, drew 70-plus institutional visits, and set FITUR 2027 for 20–24 January with Puerto Rico as Partner Country.
