Overview
- A 25-foot fishing boat struck rocks on the north side of the Golden Gate Bridge Thursday morning, and multiple crews responded to the scene around 6:10 a.m.
- San Francisco Fire Department units, the SFPD marine unit, Marin County fire agencies and the U.S. Coast Guard all took part in the rescue and medical response.
- All three people aboard were pulled from the water, given paramedic care and transported to the Marin County shoreline for continued treatment.
- A later report from the U.S. Coast Guard cited by local media says one of the three patients died at the hospital and two remained injured, while earlier accounts described all three as injured.
