Overview
- The FIA Anti-Corruption Circle in Islamabad has booked former patwari Najaf Hameed along with revenue officials Abdul Zahoor and Khalid Munir.
- Investigators allege forged registry and mutation documents were used to transfer one kanal of land, with only 10 marlas recorded in complainant Mulazim Hussain’s name.
- The transactions are alleged to have occurred in 2009–2010 in Mouza Pind Parian and were discovered on October 31, 2022 when the complainant sought an updated ownership record.
- FIA says Enquiry No. 229/2023 is complete and that a full criminal investigation is underway under Pakistan Penal Code provisions for cheating, forgery and misuse of authority.
- Reports note the development comes shortly after former DG ISI Faiz Hameed received a 14-year sentence in a separate military court case concluded in December 2025.
