Overview
- Ferrari’s Hypersail, unveiled Wednesday at Milan Design Week, introduced the brand’s 100-foot flying monohull for offshore racing.
- The yacht uses a canting keel and T-foils with an automotive-style flight-control system that adjusts the foils to keep the hull airborne over the water.
- Ferrari says the boat will run self-sufficiently using walkable solar panels and energy recovered from wind and motion, with reports citing about 20 kW from the panels.
- Design chief Flavio Manzoni and naval architect Guillaume Verdier shaped a function-first form and a new look in Grigio Hypersail grey with Nuovo Giallo Fly yellow.
- Construction is underway in Italy with launch expected in 2026, and the project is on public display at Ferrari’s Milan flagship and at a HIGHLINE Milano installation.
