Ferrari Names First Electric Supercar ‘Luce’ and Unveils LoveFrom‑Designed Interior

An exterior reveal is slated for May with deliveries to follow in 2027.

Overview

  • Ferrari confirmed the Luce name and presented the production vehicle’s interior in San Francisco as the second phase of a three‑step rollout.
  • CEO Benedetto Vigna said the cabin’s emphasis on physical controls seeks to counter screen‑heavy EV norms by blending analogue ergonomics with selective digital displays.
  • LoveFrom, led by Jony Ive and Marc Newson, co‑developed the interior architecture, materials and HMI in concert with Ferrari’s Styling Centre.
  • Ferrari reiterated performance targets: quad‑motor drive with up to around 750 kW, 0–100 km/h in about 2.5 seconds, ~310 km/h top speed, a 122 kWh battery targeting over 530 km of range, and 880 V/350 kW charging.
  • Tactile highlights include a Gorilla Glass key with an E Ink display that docks into the console, a steering‑column‑mounted three‑OLED binnacle co‑developed with Samsung Display, a recycled‑aluminium three‑spoke wheel, and a mechanical multigraph on the center console.
