Overview
- The 18th Feria del Mole took place August 14–15 in the Plaza Principal of Santa María de Guido, concluding the town’s patronal festivities honoring the Virgin of the Assumption.
- Eighteen local moleras showcased family mole recipes in clay pots, offering red, green, white, guava, sweet and spicy varieties served with chicken or turkey, rice and fresh tortillas.
- Municipal forecasts of 6,500 attendees were exceeded when roughly 7,000 visitors sampled mole during the two-day event.
