Overview
- The Disaster Recovery Center is located in the lower level of the Northwest Health Center at 7630 W. Mill Road and is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- FEMA staff are co-located with the U.S. Small Business Administration and Wisconsin Emergency Management to help people apply for aid, check application status, and explain appeals.
- Residents can use the center to seek help for uninsured disaster costs such as home repairs, personal property losses, childcare, transportation, medical and dental bills, and funeral expenses.
- The center is optional; applicants may also apply online at DisasterAssistance.gov or by phone at 800-621-3362, and the deadline to apply for FEMA Individual Assistance is August 31, 2026.
- The in-person site aims to reduce barriers for people with complex or unresolved claims and could speed resolution and access to SBA loan options for homeowners and businesses.
