- The Diario Oficial published a convenio that lets the Secretaría de Movilidad of Estado de México transfer biometric records to RENAPO with the data subject’s express written consent, opening automatic enrollment for people who hold EDOMEX driver’s licenses.
- The CURP Biométrica links a citizen’s CURP to ten fingerprints, iris scans for both eyes, a facial photograph and a digital signature, all stored in RENAPO’s database for identity validation.
- RENAPO is rolling out registration gradually through local modules and has a facilitation program that lets adults 60+ with INAPAM attend without an appointment on designated days to capture biometrics free of charge.
