February Half-Term Deals: Dozens of UK Chains Offer Kids Eat Free as Subway Launches First Nationwide Offer

Most promotions require a paying adult or an app code and vary by branch, so planning ahead can deliver meaningful savings for families.

Overview

  • The bulk of offers are timed to most areas’ school break from February 16–20, with standout exceptions including Subway’s first national Kids Eat Free deal from February 14–20 and ASK Italian’s app-based promotion running February 8–22 excluding Valentine’s evening.
  • Supermarket cafés provide some of the lowest-cost options: Asda offers £1 kids’ meals with no minimum adult spend, Morrisons gives a free kids’ meal with an adult meal of £5 or more, Tesco grants kids eat free with any adult purchase, Ikea has kids’ meals from 95p, and Dunelm’s Pausa Café includes a free kids’ meal with a £4 spend.
  • High-street chains participating include Bella Italia (kids eat free Sunday–Thursday with an adult main), Zizzi (free Bambini meal via the Zillionaires’ Club app), ASK Italian (up to two free kids’ meals via ASK Perks with an adult main), YO! Sushi (kids eat free during school holidays with a £10 adult spend), Bill’s (up to two kids eat free February 16–20), and Frankie & Benny’s (school-holiday offer).
  • Breakfast deals add further savings, with Beefeater, Brewers Fayre, Premier Inn, Table Table and Whitbread Inns offering free kids’ breakfasts with a paying adult, and Travelodge listing kids’ breakfasts for £1 at its Bar Café sites.
  • Terms commonly cap one free child per paying adult, limit availability to selected locations or hours, and may exclude specific dates such as Valentine’s evening; local outlets, including in Colchester, have confirmed participation, and deal experts estimate typical savings of about £15–£25 per family meal when using these offers.
