FCPS Cancels Wednesday Classes, Marking Seventh Snow Day

Fayette County Public Schools declared Feb. 4 a snow day as roads remain icy and snow-covered across the district.
A decision on Wednesday’s afternoon and evening activities is due by noon, with updates posted on the district weather page.
The new closure raises the total to seven snow days this school year after earlier decisions on Dec. 2, Dec. 12, Dec. 15, Jan. 30, Feb. 2 and Feb. 3.
Four NTI remote-learning days were already used on Jan. 26–29.
March 20 is the only confirmed make-up date to date, with other potential days outlined on the instructional calendar.
