- Federal and local authorities announced the $50,000 reward on Aug. 12, 2026 to generate tips that lead to the arrest and conviction of Hector Vicente Paguada Paguada.
- Police say Paguada is accused of fatally shooting 23-year-old Nayeli Bolanos Medina and her 55-year-old mother Juana Medina Rodriguez at an Irving apartment on Jan. 19, 2024, while the younger woman’s 5-year-old son watched.
- Investigators concluded Paguada fled the United States after the killings, obtained a federal Unlawful Flight to Avoid Prosecution warrant, and believe he has ties to and may be in Honduras while using multiple aliases.
