- Remigio and Jhon Huamán crossed the finish line together to share first place in the new 70K at the Ultra Trail Cordillera Blanca, completing the route in 8 hours, 42 minutes and 50 seconds on Saturday, July 4; Peruvian Irvin Llacta took third in 9:29:00.
- Arequipeño José Manuel Quispe won the Skyrace Extreme 25K in 2:49:13 to claim a fourth straight UTCB title in that distance.
- Argentine Mariana Hammond won the women's 70K in about 12 hours and also won the Kilómetro Vertical with a time of 1:15:22.
- The 11th UTCB set a participation record with more than 1,000 runners, provided live international streaming and received an official Marca Perú license from PROMPERÚ to help promote Áncash and Huaraz.
- Organizers introduced the new 70K with roughly 3,900 meters of positive elevation and passes above 4,500 meters, a course designed to test high‑altitude endurance and act as preparation for athletes targeting races such as the Adidas Andes Race in August and the Transalpine Run in September.
