Fang Cheng Bao Debuts Formula Performance Line With 1,000-HP Electric Supercar

• Fang Cheng Bao, BYD’s SUV-focused brand, unveiled the Formula lineup at the 2026 Beijing Auto Show with a supercar and three low-slung EVs.
• The Formula X is an open-top electric supercar with a carbon-fiber body and monocage chassis, a tri-motor setup rated at 1,000 hp, and a market launch confirmed for 2027.
• The Formula S sedan, S GT hatchback with a shooting brake profile, and SL flagship share an 800V platform, tri-motor all-wheel drive with up to 1,000 hp, and BYD’s DiSus-M magnetic ride control.
