Overview
- Airport operator Aeropuertos Argentina set works for October 25 to November 11, concentrating all traffic on runway 11-29 with its usable length cut to 1,850 meters from 3,300.
- Aerolíneas Argentinas will keep its international schedule, with Miami, Punta Cana, Cancún and Aruba unchanged, and Rome and Madrid adding a technical fuel stop in Rio de Janeiro; the airline warned some departure times may shift.
- American Airlines will suspend Buenos Aires–Dallas/Fort Worth, trim Miami to two daily flights, and route certain Boeing 777-300 departures via Montevideo for fuel, affecting the New York service and one Miami frequency.
- Iberia plans two daily Buenos Aires–Madrid flights on A330-200s with a Montevideo stop on the return, while Delta, United, Air Canada and Air Europa plan temporary suspensions during the runway restriction.
