Ex-Dancer Accused of Metal-Pole Attack Held Without Bond in North Miami Beach

A judge ordered detention after bond court cited fugitive warrants in Georgia, with another in Palm Beach County.

Overview

  • Princess Aaliyah Bell, 23, allegedly returned to the Taboo by G5 club in North Miami Beach after being fired Monday night and used a 7-foot metal pole during a dispute with staff.
  • Police say she struck a security guard with the pole and then threw it, hitting the manager in the leg, as the manager later reported pain but declined on-scene treatment.
  • Officers found her near a Shell station and, after a brief foot chase, arrested her around 11:50 p.m. near the westbound on-ramp to State Road 826.
  • During the arrest, Bell first gave her sister’s name, and officers used an ID card tucked in her phone case to identify her before Fire Rescue and hospital staff evaluated her.
  • She was booked early Tuesday on charges that include aggravated battery, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, resisting without violence, and giving a false name, and she remains jailed without bond on the Georgia and Palm Beach County warrants.
