Overview
- Everton confirmed on Wednesday that CMC Markets has agreed a multi-year front-of-shirt sponsorship that will appear on men’s, women’s and under-21 kits from the 2026–27 season.
- The club also announced a separate multi-year agreement that moves former front sponsor Stake to the sleeve, keeping the gambling brand visible on shirts and around club venues.
- Sources report the combined CMC Markets and Stake deals lift Everton’s shirt revenue by about 30 percent to more than £20m a year, money the club says it will reinvest in transfers, facilities and community work.
- CMC Markets’ partnership includes matchday and digital branding and funding for financial-literacy programmes with Everton in the Community and the People’s Literacy Trust.
- Regulatory scrutiny remains relevant because the Gambling Commission warned Everton in March about promoting unlawful gambling sites and Stake relinquished its UK licence earlier this year, and the club says it will ensure all partner activity follows regulations.
