Overview
- Fresh footage from Brightlingsea harbour shows several vessels operating in the early hours of March 4 during routine marine activity.
- Police say there is still no clear image confirming who unmoored a boat that later drifted across the estuary.
- Earlier CCTV recorded Ms Barreto walking alone near the waterfront at about 12:16am after climbing a fence close to the pontoon.
- The drifting vessel’s engine did not appear to be started and it was later found near Bradwell-on-Sea, with a buoyancy aid believed to be missing.
- Officers have recovered a laptop and a bag linked to Ms Barreto in Brightlingsea, are probing multiple reported sightings, and continue extensive land and coastal searches.
