Essex Police Release Images of Jewellery Stolen in Burglary at Mrs Hinch’s Parents’ Home

Police have released images of the stolen jewellery to prompt public tips.

Overview

  • Essex Police say suspects forced entry into the Maldon, Essex home on 27 January between about 11:30am and 6:30pm and stole several items of jewellery.
  • Stolen pieces include Mrs Hinch’s mother’s engagement, wedding and eternity rings, a gold cross and chain, and items linked to the influencer’s late father, Alan.
  • No arrests have been made as officers pursue targeted forensic work, review CCTV and conduct house‑to‑house enquiries in the area.
  • Police are asking the public to look out for the jewellery being sold online or in person and to report information via Essex Police’s website, Live Chat or by calling 101 quoting reference 42/13976/26.
  • Sophie Hinchliffe, known as Mrs Hinch, appealed on Instagram to her 4.8 million followers for the items’ return and described the loss as devastating for her grieving mother.
