Overview
- ESPN confirmed that, effective Sept. 17, 2026, the ESPN Unlimited monthly price will rise from $29.99 to $31.99 and the annual plan will move from $299.99 to $319.99.
- ESPN Select (the rebranded ESPN+) will increase to $13.99 per month and $139.99 annually starting on the same date.
- Most ESPN Unlimited users will not see the standalone increase because roughly 80% of Unlimited subscribers access the service through Disney+/Hulu bundles that remain at their current price.
- Disney is separately raising the closed legacy Disney+/Hulu/ESPN Select bundle for existing customers from $24.99 to $27.99 per month and will not reopen that package to new or returning subscribers.
- The move is ESPN’s first direct-to-consumer price increase since the app launched last year and follows the company’s expansion of rights and integrations, a dynamic that could push more users toward bundled offers and alter standalone subscriber choices.
