Overview
- ESPN announced it will relocate its Los Angeles television studio productions from L.A. Live to the NFL’s Hollywood Park in Inglewood, with the move expected to be completed by early September 2026.
- About 160 people work at the L.A. Live site and most studio-production staff are expected to move to Hollywood Park while others will transfer to a Disney office in Glendale and KSPN radio will remain downtown.
- ESPN said the relocation will centralize shows such as NBA Today and WNBA Countdown into the NFL Network studios already at Hollywood Park.
- The change follows the NFL’s 10% equity stake in ESPN and ESPN’s expanded oversight of NFL Media, placing ESPN and NFL production facilities under one campus.
- The move positions ESPN for on-site Super Bowl coverage from SoFi Stadium in February 2027 and aims to boost day-to-day collaboration and production efficiency even as separate reports note company-wide cost reviews at ESPN.
