- ESPN added NFL Network to the ESPN App on Thursday, July 30, making the channel available to ESPN Unlimited subscribers and to users who authenticate through YouTube TV.
- The ESPN App will carry 19 live NFL preseason games and seven regular-season games, including five International Series matchups and a Week 16 doubleheader, with some out-of-market restrictions applying.
- The integration brings daily studio shows and more than 500 NFL Films titles into ESPN’s library plus roughly 1,500 hours of annual live studio programming from the former NFL Network schedule.
- ESPN completed its acquisition and rapid operational merger of NFL Network earlier in 2026 and has cut duplicate roles during the consolidation, a process the company says produced most of the recent layoffs.
- The change folds previously separate NFL Network access into ESPN’s Unlimited tier and Disney bundle offerings, which should reduce the need for a separate subscription but will keep traditional territorial limits on some game streams.
