El Castillo de Escalona ha sufrido el d errumbamiento de una de sus torres este sábado a causa, supuestamente, de su deterioro. La torre, situada en la esquina norte del castillo hacia la Avenida de la Constitución, se ha precipitado sobre las 10.40 horas, según ha informado la Guardia Civil a través de un comunicado, Hasta el lugar
La zona alta de la torre que se ha derrumbado es del siglo XV.
