EPCOT’s France Pavilion Theater Reopens With New Seats After Refurbishment

On-site reports show Disney concentrated the refresh on the auditorium, leaving the lobby and facade untouched.

Overview

  • Palais du Cinema returned to operation after a scheduled closure that began in February for maintenance work.
  • Disney replaced every chair with fold-down seats that have red velveteen backs, faux leather brown cushions, red arms, and built-in lighting to help guests move in the dark.
  • The lobby displays and the building’s exterior remain the same, with visible changes confined to the screening room.
  • Both films are back on their normal rotation, with the Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along running 10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and Impressions de France filling early and late slots.
  • Guests can confirm showtimes in the My Disney Experience app, on the Walt Disney World website, or in the printed guide at park entry.
