Overview
- Rail engineering over the weekend will suspend direct Stansted Airport services to London Liverpool Street and reduce remaining trains to every 30 minutes.
- Travellers heading into London are being routed via Cambridge and King’s Cross because rail replacement on the Stansted corridor will be limited.
- Buses will replace trains between Bishops Stortford and Waltham Cross and between Hertford East and Waltham Cross.
- Elsewhere on the East of England network, replacement buses will run between Thetford and Cambridge North and between Bury St Edmunds and Peterborough.
- Stansted Express tickets will be accepted on alternative routes, and operators advise checking National Rail for live updates and allowing extra time.
