ENDES 2026 Meets Q1 Goal in La Libertad, Targeting 1,300 Homes

New digital tools aim to speed clean data for health policy.

  • The regional rollout now continues through 2026 to reach a total of 1,300 selected households for representative local results.
  • Nationwide, the 2026 survey covers 36,760 homes and is carried out by 75 teams made up of about 300 trained staff.
  • Tablets, portable biochemical devices and real-time tracking apps are in use to improve data accuracy, including in hard-to-reach rural areas.
  • Field staff measure weight, height, waist size, hemoglobin and blood pressure, and give participants their results on the spot.
