Overview
- Embraer announced on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, that the Phenom 300EV received certification from Brazil’s ANAC, the U.S. FAA and the EU’s EASA, clearing the aircraft for use in those regions.
- The manufacturer says the 300EV is the first light jet certified with Garmin Emergency Autoland, a system that can detect pilot incapacity, choose a runway, communicate with ATC and fly a full automated approach and landing.
- The jet adds electronically controlled functions such as autobrake and rudder-by-wire supported by a new Multi-Purpose Electronic Controller, which integrates and manages the aircraft’s new fly-by-wire and braking systems.
- Embraer lists modest performance gains including a 2,055 nautical mile range using NBAA IFR reserves, about 430 pounds more payload capacity and a top speed near Mach 0.80, and the cabin will be line-fitted with Gogo Galileo LEO connectivity with Starlink offered aftermarket via an STC.
- Deliveries are planned to begin in 2028 and the 300EV is presented as an evolutionary upgrade to the long-selling Phenom 300 family, a change that could broaden automated-safety adoption and give passengers higher connectivity and added protection on regional flights.
