Overview
- Kaulig announced on July 18, 2026 that Sadler will drive the No. 25 Ram 1500 in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race at Richmond Raceway on August 14, 2026.
- Sadler is returning to national-level NASCAR competition for the first time since 2019 and will race a Truck for the first time since 2011; he has one Truck victory from Pocono in 2010.
- The No. 25 is a 'free-agent' entry created before Kaulig’s inaugural Truck campaign in November 2025 that fields guest drivers and does not compete for the season’s drivers' championship.
- Kaulig CEO Chris Rice and Sadler emphasized their South Boston roots and the local interest in the Richmond start, and Kaulig said the drive will be used to evaluate performance as part of the program.
- The Richmond race will air on FS1, the NASCAR Racing Network and SiriusXM and follows other scheduled No. 25 guest drivers this summer, including Ryan Newman at North Wilkesboro and Conor Daly at IRP.
