Overview
- EcoRodovias secured the 30-year Rota Gerais contract following Tuesday's live auction at B3, edging a rival offer with a 19% discount on the maximum toll.

- The bidding ended after 53 voice rounds as Consórcio Atlas Rodovias offered an 18.9% discount, while Brasil Rodovias did not reach the live phase, and EcoRodovias must deposit R$73.37 million because its discount topped 18%.
- Required upgrades aim to boost safety and traffic flow, including 187 km of duplications, 160 km of additional lanes, 21 pedestrian overpasses, and new interchanges, along with user support vehicles and full network CCTV.
- ANTT plans a four-to-five-month document review with operations expected to begin around July–August 2026, and the company says early cash flow should help cut leverage within four to five years.
